Concepts: The underwater images can be originated form Socrates’cave theory, a metaphor on how humans know the world. The prisoners in the story have to go through three phases to see the real world-the shadows of things, the reflections on the water and the reality.
The water image is in the middle of true and false, the intermediate state of shadow and reality.

Concepts: This work is a reflective set of abstract paintings consisting of subjective perceptions of racial personhood in American culture which is reminiscent of the features of different races. For each painting, they are an individual; at the same time, they are a member of the whole unit. Or perhaps each painting represents its own unique environment. The transformation of the environment makes us begin to perceive and examine ourselves as a race.
When the perspective is enlarged, we can feel the diversity, conflicts, and changes that occur in the process of integration and permeation of different ethnic identities.

"Way back home" depicts me in New York City, living alone in a foreign country. There must be lonely moments, but I hope to find finer things in ordinary life.
As an Asian woman, I always feel anxious and unstable. We face some threats in society, and it is also hard for us to become confident. A lot of times I feel safer in a subway car where I'm alone. No one wants to be the one who meets the monster on the way home.

Concepts/description: In the modern day world, it is odd that we find ourselves isolating. The year 2020 marked the beginning of a global pandemic that has come to change how we live. In order to combat the virus, we decided to stay inside our homes. Though, humans are social and hopeful creatures. The subsequent pieces of art that I made, expressed the transformation of human kind.

Concepts/description: In the future we don’t know what kind of challenges humanity will face in order to prolong our stay on Earth. Whether it be virus mutations or drastic environmental shifts, there will be compromise to our current way of life. In my future worldview, I envision these transformations that life forms will embody. From new insects, mechanization, nano-tech, and foreign climates…a new world will form.

Concepts: I love Chongqing. In the last five years I have visited this great city seven times. During my study abroad, I learned about the unique craft of pop-up books and I began experimenting with combining paper cutting and painting from Eastern cultures with Western paper engineering to create a marriage between the two. This is a pop-up travel guide that benefit tourists travelling around Chongqing city.
A map and TOP 5 attractions are included. Abundant pop-up parts were adopted to help users better understand topography and architectural structure of this rugged city. Moreover, the book also introduces Chongqing in terms of history, architectural features, food culture and contemporary development.

Concepts: My project is to depict a hell picture by combining the description of a Chinese book, Hell Scene Painting with modern life. I believe that hell might exist in our lives and every corner of the world. I can always find injustices to women or single mothers with children, whether, in the workplace or the family. And these women always are invisible and suffering. Tags: Digital Painting Size: 23.4*19.6 inches

Concepts:Last year was a year of great changes in national policies and macro-control. Likewise, more young people chose to "Tang Ping" The moment in bed I think is the most comfortable and relaxing moment for most people, while the familiar smell helps relieve stress and anxiety. And taste, I think, is the most intuitive form that can make the human brain make up a state and space.
Also this work is negative because the leeks will rot and go bad over time. Just like every one of us crushed by the wheels of the times, we know that we have no way to change the status quo, but at this moment, at this moment, we can enjoy this moment of comfort. Concepts: ATTA (Attā) in Theravada Buddhism is a concept of self that includes physical body and ego that forming self, identity, and personality. In Buddhism, Attā does not exist. This work explores my experience as Thai American. Playing with the words ATTA (American Thai, Thai American) together with using American identity to form the word ATTA as a negative space, I reflect upon what has been faded away and what I have formed during my 10 years in the United States.
